As a kid, I wanted to become an Illustrator. I drew and painted everything and eventually began creating art using light and frame as a medium, exploring the realm of Photography, and eventually Filmmaking.
My career kicked off when, while working at a theme park and volunteering on the side at local film productions, I found myself with a job offer at a Healthcare video production studio. Rising to Head of Production, I began to create 360 training films. I then found myself part of a cohort of 'Immersion' Fellows with the South West Creative Technology Network where I delved deeper into immersion, performance and perception research. Eventually these inquiries lead me to study a Masters in Virtual & Extended Reality at UWE in Bristol, graduating in 2020. Then the pandemic lock downs hit and I zagged my career a bit into VR Cryptoart!
I love pushing the envelope when it comes to immersive experiences and getting stuck in with practical research, devising playtests and art directing. I want to create scintillating immersive experiences that become macrocosms of beguiling delight.
To help me do this, you can see I'm supported by the huge range of interdisciplinary skills and experiences that come from the work, research and curiosity that I've undertaken spanning the immersive, design, film and art fields.
