Crypto Art
2020 - 2022
During the pandemic I pivoted into 3D and VR art, becoming a part of the then small (but rapidly growing) cryptoart community operating entirely online.
I used my time during the pandemic to learn Blender and hone my VR art skills in Open Brush (then called Tiltbrush).
I was lucky enough to be quite successful as a Cryptoartist, selling around 35 artworks mainly via Known Origin, which has since been bought and shut down by Ebay of all things.
I was also lucky to be a part of the growing Cryptoart community before it got too popular and inflated into the ‘NFT’ space. I wrote quite a popular article on how to become one here.
You can see every piece of Cryptoart that I created and if it was sold via Opensea.
My work was largely introspective and experimental, often developing via the technical process rather than a starting vision. I mostly worked independantly though did collaborate a few times although those projects weren’t nearly as successful as my independant work.

In it’s original form the above artwork is a short animated gif of a photogrammetry scan of myself gradually disintegrating.
Similarly the above artwork depicts me ‘exploding’ and ‘reforming’ . This is one of my favourites and is called ‘Low key freakout’.
